BRIEF HISTORY

Founded in 1993, Nimtz Design Group produces residential designs that reflect our values: honesty, simplicity, creativity, and quality. Eric W. Nimtz started his career as an intern with an architectural firm in Houston, Texas. As that firm increased work out of the country, Eric quickly gained valuable hands-on experience running the firm's daily operations in Houston. Realizing the need for residential design specialists, Eric seized the opportunity to launch a residential design firm whose methods and creativity would stand out above others.

Nimtz Design Group has over 15 years of residential design experience. We enjoy collaborating with our individual clients to create designs that meets the demands of daily living and provides a sense of well-being. We work with several custom builders in Houston and the surrounding areas. These builders use us for their speculative homes because we design plans that sell. They bring their custom clients to us because they know we will work to create the home or remodeling of their client's dreams.

Eric W. Nimtz has a strong interest in the interface of residential design and other related disciplines. His background has proven invaluable in pursuing projects requiring extensive coordination and comprehension of engineering and building construction. Finally, his interest in sustainable principles is combined with each client's own priorities to produce integrated, environmentally innovative designs.

We are delighted to handle a wide range of residential projects including new homes, remodeling and additions. For each project, Nimtz Design Group collaborates with clients to produce built works that are responsive to client needs, budgets, and aspirations. As designers, we have established specific design criteria and commitments to personalized service which focus on quality and total customer satisfaction.
